We don't disconnect gas lines ourselves — that requires a licensed plumber — but we coordinate timing so the appliance is ready to move once it's safely disconnected.

Will you protect my floors during an appliance move?

Yes, we bring floor protection suited to your flooring type (hardwood, tile, or LVP) on every appliance job.

Do you move just one appliance, or does it have to be a full move?

Standalone single-appliance moves are common and welcome — you don't need a full household move booked.

What to expect.

A standard fridge runs 200-300 lbs; a French-door or side-by-side with an ice maker can be closer to 350. Washers and dryers are lighter but top-heavy and prone to tipping on an appliance dolly if it's not strapped correctly. We use appliance dollies with ratchet straps and furniture blankets on every appliance move, and we protect flooring — hardwood, tile, and LVP all scratch differently, and we bring the right sliders or floor runners for each.

We don't disconnect gas lines or hard-wired electrical — that's licensed plumber/electrician territory — but we do disconnect standard water lines for washers and typical power cords, and we're happy to coordinate timing with your plumber or appliance delivery company if a gas range or dryer needs a professional disconnect first. Tell us at booking if any of your appliances are gas-connected so we can plan the sequence correctly.

Appliance moves are common both as standalone jobs (swapping a fridge, moving a washer/dryer between units) and as part of a larger home move, and we price them the same transparent hourly way either way — no separate 'appliance fee' beyond the time and crew it actually takes.
