What to expect.

Spokane's South Hill and downtown apartment stock is a mix of older walk-ups (no elevator, tight stairwells) and newer mid-rise buildings with freight elevators that need to be reserved ahead of time. Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls have added a wave of newer complexes over the last several years, many requiring a certificate of insurance from your mover before move day — we carry ours and can send it to your property management office as soon as you book.

The most common apartment-move mistake we see is underestimating time for buildings with elevator restrictions or long walks from the parking lot to the unit. We ask about building type, floor number, and elevator access when quoting specifically so your two-hour estimate doesn't turn into four hours because the freight elevator is shared with three other movers that day.

We also handle the move-out side — many apartment leases require the unit empty and swept by a certain time to avoid an extra day's rent, and we plan arrival time backward from that deadline rather than starting whenever and hoping it works out.
